Villa Rica Pousada Boutique was born with reference to the origin of the rich Vilas of Minas Gerais, especially the city of Ouro Preto, initially called Vila Rica. The region has special and diversified mining characteristics, within the so-called iron quadrilateral, one of the richest regions in Brazil.

Even before reaching the lands of Vila Rica (now Ouro Preto), in the 16th century, the Bandeirantes began to travel through the current region of the State of Minas Gerais, in search of gold. And the path they used to reach the lands of gold was here, where we are, in the region of Vale do Paraopeba, municipality of Brumadinho.

And it was thinking about these colonial characteristics, in the middle of the mountains, that Villa Rica Pousada Boutique united in one place, hospitality, gastronomy and Minas Gerais art.
